Under 18's lose opening fixture (September 14, 2008)
A depleted Heath's Under 18 team travelled to Eastbourne Town in the County Cup and were well beaten by a good Eastbourne Town team by 4-1. A number of the Heath player's also play for other Under 18 teams in a midweek Under 18 league, which in normal circumstances isn't a problem but when it comes to County Cup competition that has to be played on a Sunday then that's a different proposition. To be fair even with a full contingent of players I don't think it would have made too much differance to the end result.Click here to return to the News page
